It Actually Made Our Patio Usable Again!

Looks Like Outdoor Decor!
Most bug zappers look ugly and don't even work, but this one actually looks nice in the yard. That honestly surprised me. It doesn’t scream ‘bug zapper’ but still works really well, i have a nicely designed yard and i can put it anywhere and it fits i love it!

How does the BugZilla™ work?
During the day, the built-in solar panel charges the internal battery. At dusk, the UV light turns on automatically and attracts mosquitoes, flies, gnats, and other flying pests toward the electric grid, where they’re eliminated on contact.
Does it really turn on by itself at night?
Yes. The built-in dusk-to-dawn sensor automatically activates the zapper when the sun goes down and switches it off again when daylight returns.
What bugs does it work on?
It’s designed to help reduce common flying pests like mosquitoes, gnats, flies, moths, and similar insects that are attracted to UV light.
How much area does one unit cover?
Coverage depends on the model and placement, but one unit can protect a large outdoor area such as a patio, deck, garden, or backyard zone. For larger spaces, many customers prefer using 2 or more units for broader coverage.
Is it safe around kids and pets?
Yes, it’s a chemical-free alternative to sprays, candles, and coils. The electric grid is housed inside the unit, helping reduce direct contact during normal everyday use. As with any electric outdoor device, it should still be placed thoughtfully and out of reach of small children.
Does it use any chemicals or sprays?
No. There are no sprays, fumes, smoke, or chemical repellents involved. It works using UV attraction light and an electric grid.
Can I leave it outside in the rain?
Yes. The unit is designed with weather-resistant construction and an IP65 waterproof rating, so it’s made to handle normal outdoor conditions like rain and moisture.
Does it work on cloudy days too?
Yes. It can still charge in indirect sunlight, although charging may be slower than on bright, sunny days. Many models also include backup USB charging for extra convenience.
How long does it run after charging?
A full charge can provide all-night use, with some models running up to around 15 hours depending on the mode and sunlight exposure.
Do I need to plug it in?
No daily plug-in is needed. It’s solar-powered for normal outdoor use. Some versions also include a USB charging option if you want to top it off manually.
Where should I place it for best results?
For best performance, place it in an open outdoor area with good sun exposure during the day and near the space you want protected at night, such as a patio, seating area, garden edge, or walkway.
